The green Star Orchid Hawaiian Shirt is back! This color of the Star Orchid shirts by Paradise Found has become something of a fashion legend due to its roots on the original Magnum, P.I. TV series and the fact that it has been out of production since before it became famous.

Every year, thousands of tourists flock to the small islands to get a taste of the rich culture found only in Hawaii. To this day, the energy and spirit of Aloha flow through strongly the islands of Hawaii, allowing it to radiate energies of love and compassion for others.

In 1947, the city of Honolulu started to encourage people to wear cooler sport shirts to work during the hot summer months. This has lead to a tradition called Aloha Friday.

Pono, like many Hawaiian words, does not have a one-to-one-word English translation. If there were one, it would probably be "righteousness," as in the state motto: "Ua Mau ke Ea o ka Aina i ka Pono," or "The life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness."

As the year comes to a close, we love to look back and see which shirts were the most popular.  Some of the shirts on this list were quite predicable while others caught us by surprise. Here are the ten most popular shirts of 2022.

Season 4 of Magnum PI started with a bang with Jay Hernandez wearing one of our favorite Paradise Found shirts, the Calla Lily (black version) Aloha shirt. He wrote this same shirt way back in Season 2 so it was fun to see him wearing it again.

On Season 3, Episode 8 of the new Magnum PI, Jay Hernandez wore the same black Jungle Bird shirt that Tom Selleck wore in the original Magnum PI. He wore it early in the episode while Higgins and her boyfriend Ethan flirt like teenagers in front of everyone.
