Makapuu Lighthouse Trail

This is the view from one of the lookouts at the top of the trail. The beach on the bottom left of the picture is Makapuu Beach, a popular surf spot. The cluster of orange-roofed buildings is part of Sea Life Park, a tourist attraction and marine research facility. The thing jutting out in the background is a wooden bridge leading to a wooden building leading out to a small island. That building was depicted in the TV show Magnum PI as TC's office. It is a fairly popular fishing and crabbing spot for locals.
