Sitting on the Beach: This picture was taken at a small beach hidden from a highway behind residential houses near the town of Haleiwa. Even though this beach is behind private homes, Hawaii law does not allow home owners to own the beach. All beaches must be accessible by the public for everyone to enjoy.
