North Shore Sunset: This
picture was taken at Sharks Cove just past Waimea Bay near historic
old town of Haleiwa.
Every evening, people park their cars along the road at various
locations along the North Shore to watch the sunset. Sharks
Cove has a nice large tidepool with lots of fish and other sea
creatures as well as an open cove for snorkeling and scuba
diving. Like most places on the North Shore, it is calmer during
summer months with winter swells making them less suitable for
inexperienced swimmers/diver during the winter.
